Stop scrolling your summer away... get spinning instead!
It's so easy to lose an afternoon scrolling, refreshing, half-watching something while your mind races around thinking about everything else. Pottery doesn't let you do that. The moment your hands touch the clay, the world outside the wheel just... quiets down. All that's left is you, the clay, and the shape taking form under your fingers. It's brilliant for young minds (and grown-up ones too) — but honestly, it's just great fun.
Just for Kids & Young Potters
Got a budding artist at home? Get them a break from screens and let their imagination take shape - literally. The studio welcomes beginners and experienced makers alike. Adult only classes & clubs also running throught the summer. Check the website for details.
Taster Classes for Families Ages 7+
Taster classes offer a short & satisfying experience and are 100% beginner friendly. For children 7+ & larger family groups, we recommend our 'off the wheel' handbuilding taster or the 1.5-hour Clay Together Family Pottery where you work the clay on and off the wheel.
Taster Classes for Ages 12+
Our short form taster classes for families and older kids are 100% beginner friendly. Our 1-hour wheel throwing taster is open to adults & older children. For mixed age group families, opt for either a 1-hour handbuilding taster or the 1.5-hour Clay Together Family Pottery where you work the clay on and off the wheel.
Weekend Intensives for Adults Only
Ready for some more advanced work on the wheel? We are offering weekend wheel throwing intensives throughout the summer. For the beginner, we have a Wheel Throwing 101: Foundations course in July. For those who have had a a 6-week course or more, join us for Wheel Throwing 102: Beyond the Cylinder in July or August.
