'Tis the season to get creative! Join us at The Old Bank Pottery Studio and craft your very own slab-built jug - perfect for serving your favourite Christmas cocktails or as a handmande gift for someone special this Christmas.
In this 4.5-hour workshop, led by hand-building tutor Ros Ingram, you'll make a functional jug from start to finish using slab methods: shaping, joining, refining.
All jugs completed in the 22nd November workshop or earlier, will be fired and ready for collection by Christmas. Students are invited to a follow-on glazing session to finish their work or the staff at the Old Bank can glaze jugs for students at no cost.
This workshop is a good follow-up for anyone who attended the hand-building taster class, but the class is suitable for all skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced potters.
Duration: 4.5 hours
