Get into the holiday spirit with our Fesitve Alchemy Christmas Bauble Glazing Workshop! In this relaxed, guided 2-hour session, you'll transform three ceramic baubles into one-of-a-kind Christmas decorations using a beautiful selection of colourful underglazes and magical crystal glazes.

To get the session started, we will introduce you to the fascinating world of crystal glazes and show you how to apply and combine them with underglazes to create stunning decorative effects. These speciality glazes contain tiny crystals that melt and move during firing, creating beautiful bursts of colour, speckles and intricate patterns across the ceramic surface. The results are wonderfully unpredictable, meaning no two baubles will ever be quite the same!  

Once decorated, your baubles will be professionally kiln-fired, ready for collection in plenty of time for Christmas.  A perfect one-of-a-kind addition to your own Christmas tree or as thoughtful, handmade gift for someone special.

All materials are included and no previous pottery or glazing experience is necessary — just bring your creativity and a little festive cheer!

What to bring: All tools and aprons are provided. 

What to wear:  Clay is messy, so we encourage casual dress when possible.  The stoneware clay used in this class will brush or wash off of most fabrics easily.
