In this one-hour session, you’ll be introduced to the fundamentals of wheel throwing.
The tutor will demonstrate the basics, then you’ll throw for an hour. Most students manage two or three pots in a single session.
You can leave with one freshly thrown pot — take it home the same day, or arrange collection within 24 hours. For a small additional fee it can be fired and glazed, ready in five to six weeks. If you decide to join the wheel throwing foundation course after the taster, we will waive the fee.
Complete beginners are welcome - no experience required. This is a good choice for anyone wanting to give the wheel a go before deciding on a longer course or for visitors looking to explore the area outside of Stratford-upon-Avon for a couple of hours.
