Gather your group around the wheel for an hour of hands-on pottery.

After a demonstration from your tutor covering the fundamentals, you'll take the wheel yourselves — most first-timers make two or three decent pots in an hour.   Each person gets to choose one pot to fire and glaze at no additional cost, ready in 4–6 weeks. Additional pieces can be fired and glazed for a fee.

Whether you're celebrating a birthday, organising a hen or stag weekend, or looking for a corporate team-building activity that beats another round of quiz night, this session works as a fun, low-pressure group outing which is accessible to complete beginners. No experience needed, just a willingness to get your hands a bit messy.

Age: £50 per person. Minimum price equivalent to 5 attendees (£250) although smaller groups are welcome at this price.  Maximum of 10 attendees. 

Age: 7+ (supervising adult must be present with minors)

What to bring: All tools and aprons are provided. 

What to wear:  Clay is messy, so we encourage casual dress when possible.  The stoneware clay used in this class will brush or wash off of most fabrics easily.

Accessibility: We pride ourselves in being accessible.  We have a ramped entrance for those with limited mobility and a ground floor toilet.  All of our pottery wheels can be operated by hand or foot.  We encourage you to contact us to discuss your specific needs prior to booking.
